Inna Cantina is the name of the Roman duo composed of Jimmy and Ientu.
Born in ’92, they began their musical adventure from their school desks, remaining by each other’s side for over a decade.
As healthy carriers of their message of love, they boast 10 years of live performances throughout Italy and Europe—living proof that believing and dreaming big shortens the distance between dreams and reality.
Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Overjam Festival (Slovenia), and Outlook Festival (Croatia) are just a few of the most important stages that this young but well-established Roman band has graced. They also serve as artistic and executive directors for the Paxos Reggae Festival (Greece).
The band’s journey started in high school with socially conscious lyrics and gathering crowds at student protests, and has led them to collaborate with Italian pillars of the genre like Brusco, Piotta, and others. They have even teamed up with international artists of the caliber of Bay C, from the Jamaican collective T.O.K., on the 2019 track “Fuori dall’isola.”
The icing on the cake of their new album “REGGAEDIAZEPINE,” presented by Mitraglia Rec., is the massive track “Fino al Sole” featuring Alborosie (accompanied by a worldwide discovery campaign) and the song “Mahatma Gandhi” featuring Sud Sound System, which is currently enjoying major success.
This summer, the new album will be showcased live during their self-titled tour, featuring a brand-new show and sound, with more than 30 dates already scheduled.
