BENEFIT FOR ALIEN J
This New Year's Eve a rave was held in Bologna, which was meant to be an antagonistic demonstration against the latest laws that have imposed bans and new organizational crimes, punishing with a very heavy repression not only this type of party, but also increasing the penalties for anyone who gathers or wants to perform without going through the authorization of a random Giorgia and Matteo.
A musician dear to us, Alien J, after playing at another event in Perugia, was coming to the party with all his live equipment, synthesizers, drum machines, various racks, to perform for free, in favor of this movement.
The police stopped him near the party and seized all his instruments as evidence of a crime that was labeled to him.
We mobilized on several fronts to raise funds, pay lawyers, get his instruments back as soon as possible, which were 15 years of work and sacrifices, without which he can no longer even perform and live with dignity, since they were his livelihood.
In addition to crowdfunding, two labels have organized a benefit album, also for this fundraiser.
We accept any type of electronic music. We take care of making professional masters, distributing the album independently on bandcamp for a month, we offer everyone's work as a single and we give all the proceeds to the charities that are raising the funds. The compilation will be sold via bandcamp by the Repartee label for a month, while our label offers support with sound engineers and illustrators, and all together, including the organizations, we act as guarantors for your rights and the transparency of the benefit.
The artists who offer their song are protected in every artistic aspect, they are free to publish and distribute their material as they wish; they will decide together with us how to proceed after this single month of benefit.
In acceptance of the songs there is me, who started the movement for this album as soon as possible, synchronizing with organizations such as Smash repression, Sound Underground Music, Spiral tribe, renowned artists such as Insane Teknology, Olstad, illustrators, etc. (we will write you a list soon, because we are all under this mess).
